How much for SCT tunes

If you don't buy your SCT how much are tunes from other dealers?

you can get some for free if you call around. dfuser charges $25. DJ charges $50. Innovatives prices are on their website. unsure of what spartan and elite charge. but there is a new program out that allows the public to tune their own vehicles so hopefully that will eventually drop the prices of tunes.

IMHO, that is kinda scary if people don't know what they are doing. Get some "shadetree mechanic" without diesel knowledge writing files and next thing you know things start blowing up. Hopefully it'll just be their own rigs.

Come on Eric you can do better than that! "Hello friend....."! LOL

It's been pretty well covered but I tend to agree that tuning a 6.0 is pretty complex and easy to screw up bigtime. Heck even some of the so called professional tuners screw it up so I'm sure not going to attempt it myself. Paying say $150 for unlimited tuning is a lot cheaper than a $4,000 tranny or $12,000 motor.

Sorry, meds got me ditzy tonight. Trying not to make too detailed of answers!

But, I can say that I agree with you Matt. I have tried to watch and learn looking over Eric's shoulder, and that lasted about 2 minutes. Seriously, there is SO much in there, I would be afraid to put a 2 where a 1 should of been, and BOOM! No thanks.
