is the sct livewire ts perfect???

I am going be buying an sct tuner with custom tunes for my truck...

at the same time I am looking for guages...

Why wouldn't someone just pay the extra $120 for a nice set of digital guages (the sct livewire ts) 379 vs 599

I have not seen the downside yet and when something sounds too good to be true... it usually is!!!

My other option was going to be a set of analog guages, or maybe re-use my old bullydog gt just for reading temps (not for tuning)

Slide on over to the general 6.0 section and look for my thread titled "anybody using the new livewire ts 5015" all the info you want about it.

Lots of people are using them now, IMO a all in one tuner monitor is the way to go.

Apparently He doesn't want to tune so Why a Livewire at all ?

An Edge insight is perfect for this and way easier than separate gauges.

as far as the Livewire being used to monitor and program

let Me ask this

How screwed are you if it gets stolen?

(I already know the answer and is why my programer is at home safe)

I am going to use it for custom tunes... i am just never going to use bullydog for tunes again, but I still have the tuner/guages and I was thinking about re using just as my guage

oke: The first line in his post says he's getting custom tunes lol.

I gues you'd be just as screwed as if anything else got stollen, you wouldn't have it anymore.
Save a stock file on your pc and use whatever sct programmer replacement you buy to put the truck back to stock, then tune away like nothing happened.
