hey guys i was just woundering if the edge juice was any good for the 6.0? i like the idea of setting you max boost and it shuts down when your egts get to high. and is it a pain in the *** in getting tunes from dj and whats it like to download them into the programmer?

I didn't like my edge because I was too impatient to put the miles on for the trans calibration. Plus it doesn't do away with the 98mph top speed. I lost to an Avalache because of it so I wasn't too happy. I have had the SCT for almost 3 years now and it's the way to go. If you don't already have one it will come loaded with your custom tunes if you buy it from dj or whoever. If not it's no big deal to load yourself.

That's strange because I had mine over 100. Seemed to work on mine...

If you go with the Juice you need to plan on buying the EVO to handle the tranny, then you don't have to worry about the transmission learn process. I just pulled my Juice and Evo for a SCT X3 from DJ. Vivian the whole crew at DJ's are awesome, superb people to deal with. The tunes come via e-mail and are really simple to load to the X3 and then to your truck. Having had both I haven't spent a whole lot of time with the SCT, but the LOONEY has more power than my Juice on "6" (the HOT code)...

I think my Juice may have smoked alittle more, but I think DJ can add more smoke to the LOONEY for you. DJ also has just a street smoke tune too that I heard pours smoke...

SCTx3 for sure! That's the beauty of custom tuning; DJ can write the tune however you want...

I'm going to get an SCT sometime. I just want the street smoke. But untill my tranny problems get resolved the truck is staying stock.
