Edge Insight CS cable routing up to pod on dash

I just bought all the parts to install an Insight CS on my dash. How do you route the cables (pyro as well as the OBDI), up along the side to make it look nice? I see there is rubber moulding going up the door jam and I can pull it back some? How about taking off the plastic side panels on the dash, how hard is that? Thanks and this is pertaining to an '04 PSD.

all the panels unsnap and you can bury the cable pretty well between them and the large weatherstrip

I suggest either relocating the OBD

or I bought a 90 degree adapter and rotated the OBD 180* to get it out of the way

I just unbolted mine and turned it around. Worked out well for me and it is out of my line of sight
