How far on stock head bolts?

What is the farthest they have been pushed without failure? I have a 2003 6spd EGR delete with 175/75, MTW hybrid, RR, Matt's tunes I run only the SLR tune and a FICM tuneby PHP. Been running this setup for about 20k towing and lots of hyw with no issues and those are hard miles. I will be installing 225's and a stage 4 soon and studs cause I'm not completely crazy. But it would be nice to see how far I could push them stock bolts.

03 6.0L F-350 ECLB 4WD 240k on the clock
Warren Diesel 175/75s, Regulated Return, MTW Stage II,
5in MBRP, EGR Delete, PHP Tuning and FICM Tuning,
APD Traction Bars, 35's, and groceries in the bed...

Trying to see how long the stock head bolts last...

Also have a 99 7.3 with the motor tore down, gettng some more goodies. It made 507/1130 on stock turbo and tranny

That's probably the most power I've seen thrown at stock bolts and it not blow a gasket. Ford must have put some nice flat heads on yours from the factory.

Btw, what do you run the FICM tuner on usually?

I was just getting ready to start a new thread asking who has the most mods on stock bolts.... you beat me to it! haha

I've got about 30k on SRL+ and various MTW and Pmax turbos, blue spring, EGR delete, and a 5" exhaust system with no cat but a muffler big enough to make my truck lean!

Sounds like your about to find out for us. Let us know. I can't understand why, but will be interesting. You've been that deep many times to get to the injectors, don't know why another $500 dropped on ARPs don't outweigh the $10k you will have to spend when she grenades. Oh well, pay to play!
