Time Has Come

Well the time has come that I will be purchasing an SCT tuner. Only question is, which one to go with, the X2 or X3? I have a 2006 f250 and already have the gauges installed so don't need the livewire.

Will probably go with custom tunes from either Innovative or DJ's. Any advice you guys might have to push me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Just a side note, SCT X2 has a listing of options for it and says tire size is adjustable. From what I have heard is that with the custom tuners that this isnt an option?

The X3 replaced the X2 so you will most likely be getting the X3 unless someone has an old one laying around. The tire size adjustment is just for tranny calibration I believe - I know it doesn't adjust the speedo or odometer I have Innovatives tunes and couldn't be happier. Eric has been great to work with.

Aside from wanting the tire size adjustment for the transmission. Which would be the tuner to go with? DJ's or Innovative? I keep hearing about the Looney tune by DJ, but I am sure Innovative has a nice one also. I do have a heavy right foot so the econ tunes wont be an option. a good street, tow(with exhaust breaking) and a higher performance tune is what I want.

I know I ask a lot of questions, but it is a fair chunk of change for me and just want to make sure I get the best product I can

I think either DJ or Innovative are verry good..I went with Innovative threw Raul at stealth because I ordered gagugees and fendere flares at the same time..Going looney sounds cool..I am more than happy with my extreme tunes by Eric @ Innovative..Once you go SCT you will never go Back...I would rather walk than drive a stock powerstoke again....I would like to sellmost of my toys and play with an 6.4 ...
