Trans acting funny..

The other day I laid into it from a 25 mph roll broke the tires loose a bit then pulled hard up to 75 mph. When I backed out of it to hold steady speed I looked at the tach and I was at 3800 rpm! Looked at the cts and I was in 4th gear unlocked. I played with the throttle for about 10 seconds and it wouldn't shift. I then hit the tow/haul button with my foot on the gas and it went to neutral and I reved it to 4500 on accident when I backed out of it I shut the tow haul off and it found a gear and has been fine since. Any ideas? Mods in my sig I've been running looney for about a year and it has been awesome thats why I don't think this would be a tuning issue..

They act stupid like that sometimes. It could be one of the soliniods sticking or going out.

If I remember right the cts only counts shifts not displays commanded shift, so it was more than likely a problem with the 3-5 shift not fourth as the trucks rarely use fourth.

A modified direct drive soliniod or a epc soliniod inplace of the direct drive will help.

i had similar issues till i replaced the direct drive solenoid. you can replace it with a custom EPC solenoid if you prefer. msg me if you have further questions about replacement.

The Solenoid swap is easy, but the "WYIT" while your in there's can get ya for about 240....
