WHAT TUNER AGAIN??

Used DP +40 and +60 on two 2001 work trucks. Basically just tried them as a test. they both had significant power jump and without any side effects whatsoever ---to date.

My problem is what to do with the one I drive?? ---2005 with the 6.0 .

not too interested in smoking off the tires and too old to race the neighbor
kids- just want econo tune for best open road mileage and maybe a reasonable
+HP # for towing. never tow over 8000lbs.

Any recommendations on what works well with the 6.0 or maybe what doesn't work??

Tuner

I love my SCT Livewire 9600. Has mulitple pre-programmed settings and I couldn't be happier with it. I have two friends that both have them and they love them also. I just got mine last week so I am still learning as well but so far so good.

WELCOME to the ORG!
You'll find that most people here who run the 6.0 are SCT fans because of the customability you can get with it - plus for the price. There are a lot of tuners on the market and I've run a few of them but when I loaded the SCT tunes I never looked back.

SCT

SCT, just updated their firmware and the pre-programmed tunes for the 6.0 in January. If someone has it and doesn't like it they need to get the new software and try it again.
