Welp Money Down the drain!

Just recently purchased a PPE tuner for my Powerstroke off a guy on the forum here. I know I know right now I dont need to hear about sct stuff. It worked fine when I got it. I came in today thinking that the tuner was a few years old and thought I would update it through the PPE website. Halfway through the freaking update the screen went blank and it froze for HOURS and wont do anything. Somehow it lost everything..THANK the Good Lord I had put it back to stock!!!!!!!!!!!! I have no desire to pay PPE to unlock this thing...So if anybody out there wants to do that and wants to buy one cheap let me know.

Well that sucks! Just curious, as I have no intention of selling my unmentionable tuner (that starts with S, ends with T, and has a C somewhere in the middle), but what is a PPE tuner? Never heard of it.

It's the tuner the guy who was selling claims made an extra 250 hp or something on level 10. I posted in that thread that - that programmer won't make anything close to an extra 250 hp and the op told me "sure it will, to the crank" and I said every other programmer out there rates the power gains to the wheels not to the crank.
