mtw 03 turbo wheel

Well after a little trip around the usa my 03 mtw wheel has made it to my door . I plan on doing some before and after tests with it . I have two 03 turbos and was wondering if i should install the wheel on the one in the truck or use the turbo on my shelf ? Also i am intrested in any do it yourself mods i can do to the compressor housing ? Also is there any other members on the org who also have the 03 wheel on there 03 turbo ? I don't have the mtw wheel but have the xsboost wheel in my 03. It looks identicle to yours. I love mine. Faster spool up lower egts and higher boost. When I took it to the track it hit 42psi at first then settled to 38.

i installed the wheel and it took about 2 hrs start to finsh . i started it up and it seemed to be sucking more air . the intake noise was louder . when she was warmed up i went to the hwy and noticed a new intake sound , at wot my egts never pasted 1200 on 3 wot runs , running matts srl++on the stock compressor i was hitting 1350-1390 . its too soon to tell if there are any power increase ill have to drive it more to see , i only took it out for a quick test drive and i ran it hard , the highest boost number i seen was 28 psi at one point crusing at stock i seen 30 ans 32 on looney . 28 seems to be the normal for my truck with the srl++ . i will run it for a while and see how it performs . so far i am very happy mtw 03 turbo wheel-wheel-003.jpg

took it out today for a run and i like the new wheel , my egts are at least 50-150 lower all around. and 150-200 lower on wot runs . there is a little power increase from what i can tell . it seems like it sucks more air even when i put my hand next to the air filter i feel it sucking like a vac . also seems less laggy but more time will tell
