Tunes?

So, i've been running Eric's tunes ever since i bought my SCT. However, i'm not impressed with the mileage. I know that mileage with these trucks isn't what we really shoot for but i'm curious to try someone elses tune. I'm also really paranoid about transmission tunes, so i'm hesitant there also. I had to replace my trans at 100k, and it was a nice dent in my pocket book.

Here in KY they don't get on us about smoke, so i'd like to get a tune equivalent to Eric's Xtreme Street file, with awesome shifting, similar power or more, same smoke or more , etc.

Who do you guys recommend, why? and how long have you ran their tunes?

Ever thought about having it live tuned? I heard Lee Blankenship out of Shelbyville can tune but I have no idea if he has experience with the 6.0. That isnt to far from you.

What's there to be paranoid about transmission tuning? Be happy that you can tune your transmission. It's a good thing. It's your driving habits that are killing your tranny not the tuning.
As far as the tunes try Gearhead. Super smooth, great power, and less smoke.

I love my SRL tune from Matt at Gearhead.
The mileage is also good with it.

I think I've tried everything but Innovative. I really like Matt's tunes because the power is linear and his shifting is great. I'm running his SRLXX and it runs like a freight train.

Same thought, I need tunes for a 6.0. I haven't done the ARP studs but have done the EGR delete. I want a better Perf than the stock SCT tuners and if possible a better tow and Fuel Mileage. I get 19 MPG on the Street setting now. Any good uggestions?\

he'll never touch my truck again, i'll leave it at that. He needs to stick to tuning the local mustang crew imo

as for everyone else, i may try Matt's SRL tune. Keep the suggestions coming though folks!

Yeah Gearhead seems to be the best so far and TSD but good luck as said. Tony is becoming popular fast too.
