canned and custom tunes.

So just wondering why are canned tunes " bad" do they blow Hg more frequently destroy the tranny or is it they just don't come close to custom?

They dont come close to having a tune written specifically for your truck. I love mine. I ran Edge juice then I had SCT canned tunes and now I am rolling custom tunes. Night and day difference.

I'm def gonna get custom but if I need it just to turn my check engine light off. Just wanted to make sure they don't increase risk for damage

I'm running Tony Wildman's extreme tune on mine. I love it. Ran canned tunes for a week before tony got back to me. Check him out, you won't be disappointed at all.

so canned tunes provides a little fun but not as much as custom tunes. My real question here is that they are safe to run on the truck for a month or 2 and that they dont have a increased risk of blown hg or eating up the tranny?

Most people find that custom tunes are more refined, produce more power, and have better shifting characteristics. You will definitely be able to tell a difference between canned and custom tunes.

We can get you setup with some tunes as well if you are interested. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about our tune options.
