Question SCT + Guages or SCT Livewire?

Straight forward, i will be getting an sct by the end of this month, and am just wondering what would be a smarter path to take. Sct with guages (egt, boost, etc.) or livewire with its digital display monitoring. How accurate is the livewire compared to guages? obviously the livewire has many more features than the straight up handheld which would come in handy at some points, but what would be the safest way to go?

thats what im leaning on too, only downside is the egt probe kit which has been discontinued everywhere i look, and then theres the "wiring harness" for that probe kit too for it all to function, which is another $100+

Through the research I have done. It is cheaper in the end to get a live wire because getting nice gauges can run u a fair amount of money plus then with a programmer seperate its even more just my thought.

Here is a couple pictures of the SCT Livewire. I run the insight CTS and x3 combo but wanted to use this Livewire to gain familiarity to assist our customers. Pretty nice device all and all. I have been using it for 3 days now

I am starting to sell more of the SCT Livewire for the 6.0L, even starting see Mini Maxx sales going up but I still sell and install 10 to 1 Custom tuned SCT X3's with the Edge Insight CS or Insight CTS display.

The Insight monitors some critical parameters easily view-able, user friendly with easy set alarms. It accurately displays the usual Pyro, Boost and trans temp with a sensor for pyro. Equally important on the 6.0L it monitors EOT (Engine Oil Temperature) and ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) on the powerstroke which can pre-warn a failing oil cooler before it fails all together. Also the Insight reads Battery Voltage and FICM (Fuel Injection Control Module) all vital pids we monitor with our Ford IDS software when diagnosing a 6.0L Powerstroke.
