EGR/oil cooler; How many hours?

How long, in hours total to remove & replace? Trying to get an idea how much it would be in labor.

Watched the entire procedure on Youtube; it's pushing the limits of my skill set and I just don't have the time to do it. I will probably have to replace both in my '05; the deltas are up to 19*F when towing our boat. Going to use the Sinister kit since we have emissions testing here.

Thanks for any input

It took me 4 hours for disassembly at a comfortable pace with fairly simple hand tools. Mines still apart waiting on new parts but I can assume another 4-5 going back together. Granted I wasn't rushing and made sure I was inspecting all the parts as I tore it down so I'm sure it can be done faster but I'm sure a shop will at least charge you 8 hrs minimum to do the job.

OK. Thanks. I'm lookint at 6-8 hrs at $100/hr plus parts. F'infantastic....

Any opinions on the Sinister kits? Good? Bad? Is there another emissions approved kit I'm not aware of? I assume it's smart to change the EGR at the same time as the cooler, since it will be all apart anyway and if the cooler failed the EGR is next. (I had a new cooler installed by the dealership in 2008 under warranty and wished I had installed a filter kit then).

I understand the bulletproof diesel kits are the standard but sinister seems to be right in there as well. I went with performance machine myself but I did the delete, not a new cooler.

I was quoted 11 hours for the delete and OEM oil cooler replacement but that's for a van.

I need it to be emissions approved. We have to do an emissions test every two yrs up here in the PNW. That's why I was considering the Sinister kit. It was the only such kit I've found, but I am not an expert in this diesel crap.
