Yesterday when i started it after it puked it threw some white smoke out of the exhaust, it only did that once today it didnt do it.. could that have something to do with it?

That sounds like EGR cooler/valve/oil cooler.

yep, EGR Cooler. But I would also use that tester that checks for combustion gases in the degaus bottle. I have used them in the past and they work very well.

that is my thinking. I think they know damn well that the heads are bad and are trying to get what they can before they have to bite the bullet and just fix the darn truck. It is strange however that there is seemingly nothing wrong with the truck, no white smoke, no overheating, no codes, no loss of power, nothing just that funny smell once in awhile.

i happen to have bought the gas tester from snapon last week hell was only like 70$ and works great definatly a most check even if ya get the tool your self and what about the block off plates dothey keep the pressure of the cooler not real firmilar with the system setup

its only around 35 psi of boost.. and i dont know how much power I am putting to the ground..

Most likely you are only boiling the coolant on wide open or really close to wide open. It probably bubbles a little into the cooling system while driving slow but not enough that it can't bleed off that pressure slowly. When you hammer on it, it's most likely blowing in there fast and hot!
