Good luck with that. Doug's head is so far up his azz these days that vendors are no longer carrying his stuff. He hasn't had his phone on for the last 2 weeks, doesn't respond to text messages and isn't delivering product he has committed to. Time to look into using an EPC solenoid.

What's the EPC solenoid? You still haven't received your manifold? Maybe you should make a trip down here to Florida. lol

No I haven't and Doug has fallen off the end of the world so I am going forward with my own ported intake. I just sent it off to Adrian to weld back together for me and pressure test it. I wasted the better part of 3 months waiting on Doug. He is so far out of it he is useless at this point. So I should have my intake back in a couple of weeks or so and I can move on with my truck.

The EPC solenoid controls overall oil flow to all the other solenoids. The pressure can be set higher and it is basically the same thing as the Gogo direct solenoid but you can get it at any Ford parts house. You have to trim a couple tabs for it to fit right but that's trivial. It provide more pressure to the direct drive section firming up the shifts and eliminating shift flare. There a re a few threads here about this if you look.

If your trans is shifting right and not flaring on you then NO, you don't NEED one. A little more juice on the direct clutches isn't a bad thing though.
