Blue spring mod questions

Hey guys still new to the forum somewhat but i had some questions about the blue spring mod... I cant find any one thread that has alot of detail to it.. I was just wandering what the mod is/does... I have a 2006 f250 6.0 with all stock everything with a 4 in mbrp turbo back and sct livewire ts with the egr deleted option turned on through the sct... Thanks in advance from what ive read about the mod its obviously good i was just wanting to no what it actually was

Blue spring mod questions

It increases your fuel pressure.

the blue spring is for the fuel pressure regulator, its a stiffer spring that helps maintain your fuel pressure at the 55-60PSI its supposed to be, on another note I'd ditch the edge evo for an SCT with custom tunes, the truck will just run more efficiently IMO.. I'd do the blue spring because its cheap peace of mind, if you already have a monitor, just watch for fuel pressure and if you notice it dropping then do the blue spring if you don't want to spend the extra cash

Thanks kendallcschm helps alot and the truck on the bottom of my sig is my truck now the blue one with the sct livewire i have all stock tunes ive been looking into custom tunes but i cant decide... So for just a quick cheap mod ill want to do the blue spring mod even without that much done to my truck? Thats the main thing i was wanting to no and i also read it changes the idle sound of ur truck?

Have you tested your fuel pressure to see what your currently running at? Imo its a quick easy mod to do and gives you piece of mind. You don't want that fuel pressure dropping below 45psi! As for the idle, I haven't noticed much difference.

Re: Blue spring mod questions

You can't read fuel pressure without a add on sensor to read it with. The 6.0 does not have a factory fuel pressure sensor.
