Shifting problem

When my truck shifts with the tq converter locked sometimes it bounces. It feels as if someone was driving a stick and coming off the clutch too soon. Usually 3-4 bounces, but when I was towing recently it started the bounce and wouldn't stop untill I let off. It much more noticable uner meduim to heavy throttle, wot throttle its usually pretty quick shifting.

Different tunes do this differently, IDP's are so bad violently bouncing I can't drive the truck, Vivian's does't do it at all, no converter lockup, and Tony's who's I'm currently using sometimes does it and sometimes doesn't. Depends on the tune. But Its never as violent as IDP's. Just a few bounces.

Any idea what this is? I don't want to eliminate lock-up just want it to lockup smoothly like it sometimes does all the time.

Mine does its too in to 6th if I'm barely on the pedal. Hits real hard and bounces like your is.

I think it's like that because the converters locked. Mine locks after 2nd

I remember some of Tony's tunes locking comfortably, his extreme does for me. Just now after some revisions (revisions to correct the 3-5 flare) its has some bounce now.

I sent an email, waiting on a response. I'm not quite sure how our transmissions work. Or what exactly the problem is and how tuning can fix it.

When my 7.3 converter locks it feels awesome, smooth but noticable, no bouncing just puts the power to the ground and goes. If my 6.0 shifted like that I'd be in heaven, just don't know how to get it to do that!
