Where do I go next for 500HP?

Hey everyone,

Currently I have the SRL tune by Matt (getting the SRL+ now that my studs are done), ARP studs, Stock Gaskets, EGR Delete, New HPOP, 4" MBRP Straight, and EGT, Fuel Pressure, and Boost Gauge. I'm trying to get to 500 RWHP without breaking the bank. I'm thinking a set of 155's and a PowerMaxx might be do the trick but I'm still unsure. I'm also adding a FICM programmer from PHP soon. Let me know what ya'll think!

190/75% and a powermax have a hard time reaching 500hp...

You need 175's and a stage 2 from Mad Turbo Werks

About 2700-3000 $$

I recommend injectors from Renegade Diesel and the turbo from the above named company!

These people are the source/ manufacturers... Not resellers so they will have the best prices!

My truck made about 520rwhp based on track times with 155s and a powermax. But, every truck is different.

Generally, you are going to want 175s to guarantee you can get 500 hp. Some trucks will make it with 155s, others won't.

I was wondering what else i could/should do with out buying a new turbo cause i only have about 10,000 mi on it. Ill prob run like this for now till i get more funds then want to do something to the turbo and maybe rewrite tunes. Need a few opitions but its just a daily driver and a weekend play toy

Send your Pmax to Adrian at MTW and have him modify it to a Hybrid.

Using a modified intake manifold would be a better option than a new bigger turbo. Additionally there is a Pmax single plane billet wheel out thru several vendors.

On the 6.0l we have here at the shop, it has 155cc/stock injectors, snow water meth system, along with dieselsite's WWG2. This truck puts down 550 rwhp with w/m and 520 rwhp without the w/m

This is running our power hungry custom ECM tuning. No changes were made to the tuning for the wicked wheel gen 2.
