Custom Dyno Tuning in Tri-state area

I know alot of people do the e-tunes, but was wondering if there are any shops in the tri-state area (i live in CT) that do custom dyno tunes for your particular truck, not just a generic tune without being able to see live data.

I come from a subaru background where you need extensive live data and you do 5-8 etunes w/wide band AFR before you get a final tune. maybe these diesels are more forgiving i dont know.

i called mass diesel since i knew they were local and they do not do any custom dyno tuning.

any input would help. thanks

Yep, I agree with Mikeproc. Either do email or live dyno tuning with Eric at Innovative Diesel in Elkton, MD. He's going to be your best bet. Most guys do the e-tunes because they are cheaper but live tuning is usually always the best way to get your truck set up for you particularly.

Depending on what is done to your truck, live tuning may not be worth the investment. If your truck is close to stock or is running a pretty common setup, a good tuner will be able to get pretty much the same power out of it with e-mail tunes as they would with live tuning because the e-mail tunes are based off of their live dyno tuning experience.

Most charge $250 per hour, and dyno time, Eric was pretty reasonable when I was looking into it. There is no way to real time "live tune" these trucks. They make changes to the file and load the file into the truck and test it out and make changes that way.
