Meth Injection does it add power?

I've been looking all around and googling specific to powerstroke 6.0 and meth injection. No one talks about the power gains they all praise lower EGT and better economy.

Such as this article with the cummins

Water-Methanol Injection: How Much is Too Much? - Diesel Power Magazine

Has anyone documented power increase amount with a tuned 6.0 and meth?

Thanks

Bill at PHP has documented 50+rwhp gains on his kit running boost juice (49%meth by volume). I use -20* washer fluid (about 35-40% meth by volume) and have a VERY noticeable increase in power on the juice. I havn't dynoed it on the meth yet, but those numbers will be in soon enough. I have the AIS kit and couldn't be happier. My 6 gallon tank is installed in my tool box along with the pump. I arm the system off my AUX1 upfitter switch and my boost controller activates the system @ 15psi. I'm going to bump it to 20psi since the only time I need the added power is when I'm really in it anyhow.

I'll bow to Chris's opinion and expertise on this, but didn't you increase your water/meth output when you went to the MTW Hybrid over your 66 non-VGT?

matt, I am running more water with the hybrid now than the 64mm non vgt because it makes the truck run hotter. Turbine housing on the hybrid just restricts it that much. I'll try and post those a couple vids later I have. Right now I have it coming on at 10psi and full at 20psi. With the 64mm non vgt I had it coming on at 15 and full at 30. You most definitly feel it when it comes on.

Thanks for the replies guys 50HP is a pretty good # plus the benefits of cooling the EGT. I'm thinking of getting the Snow performance MPG-MAX using the 49% also.

What is the temperature you are trying to stay away from melting pistons and components?

Look into the AIS kits. Excellent quality, ridiculous price and the pumps come with a lifetime warranty. I know a couple guys that had Snow pumps crap out on them and bought replacements pumps from AIS just because of th outstanding customer service and warranty.

I was dead set on a snow kit, I'll have to look into bills and ais. Anyone on here running an ais kit? This is coming up on my list, as soon as my trans is straight I'll be looking to buy a w/m setup.
