Downpipe?

Quick question, I have a 4 inch exhaust dumped now, I can get a 4" mbrp downpipes from buddy real cheap and was wondering is there any benefits to fighting that thing in thee even for cheap?

down pipe wasnt hard to put in. yes it will help with egt's and hp a little

It isn't going to help with HP, it may help somewhat with egt's. A 4" downpipe is easier to install in an 05-07 truck than an 03-04 truck because of firewall differences. There is a stud through the firewall that you will have to cut off to get the 4" pipe in in your truck..

Like Mitch said...gotta cut the stud that comes through the firewall. I just installed a magnaflow 4" dual setup and it comes with a two piece 4" downpipe. I had to cut the stud off. However the first piece had to go in from the top of the engine then the second piece goes up from the bottom.
