Want rear camera to come on livewire ts automatic when in reverse

I hooked up the boyo rear license plate camera to my livewire TS yesterday. It works great but I have to manually turn it on and off. Anyone know if the livewire has the ability to turn the camera on automatically when put in reverse?

I don't think it does.

My radio comes on when in reverse, I had to hook a wire up to the reverse light so it would do it. I haul a enclosed race car trailer, I'm thinking about putting a camera on the back of it and hooking it up to the ts. That way my radio will show behind the truck an the ts will show behind the trailer.

I'm going to contact SCT and Vivian from quick tricks to see if I can get software written for it

I'm 99% sure Vivian won't be able to change anything but tunes. And I doubt sct will do anything either.
I'm not sure if there's anyway to tell the ts the truck is in reverse thru the obdII port.
The only way you might luck out is if the ts can switch when it detects a video signal, and you would have to hook the power input of the camera up to the reverse lights.

Well I guess reverse does go thru obdII come to think of it, because commanded gear will read thru there.
But even still sct dose software changes when THEY want to, has nothing to do with customer input lol.
