An exhaust is an excellent choice, even for a stock truck. I haven't noticed any gains with anything over a 4" exhaust. Both a 3.5" or 4" downpipe will suffice on a truck under 700rwhp, as I've tested both on our truck.

I'd recommend an intercooler upgrade with anything over stock injectors. Especially if you don't upgrade the turbo at the same time.

even on a stock truck, a good open exhaust and I/C will help with EGT's, and especially if you've hotrodded it..

i actually have no choice on the intercooler situation cause my new turbo that's coming will make enough boost to blow the plastic end tanks of my stocker i've been told.
