Welcome Banksontheway! I don't think Banks offers an air filter. From what I understand it comes with the techni cooler which replaces the intercooler and tubing but not the filter. I think most people out there go with AFE or Airaide for the intake kits.

I know banks really good i love there products. No banks does not make a air filter. I have a K&N on my rig with the 6 gun chip and 5 in stright exht. So far so good. By the way you want to get the WHOLE INTAKE & FILTER dont just by a filter that goes in your stock intake the tubing is 2 small you need it to get all the air you can.

They call it a banks ram air filter but it's basically a k&n filter.

banks no air filter

I asked Banks when I ordered my 6 gun pda. They said there wasn't enough gain in power for the $. They said the duramax was a different story and desperately needed it. Notice they sell a filter for chevy.

This just proves how little Mr. Banks knows.................how could improved air flow and volume not be worth it on a diesel?

depends nate....i would venture to say in thier testing they came to the conclusion that the donaldson filter in the 6.0 flowed almost as much or as much air as the motor could actually use....just my guess.....

That is a thought, but I don't see the logic in it. You caint run 120 extra HP and not need more air. That just aint in the cards.
