Thinking of building her up

Im thinking of putting a set of warren diesel 175cc injectors and a mtw stage 2 turbo in the truck. What other supporting mods will i have to do to get the most out of this setup? I know i need studs to be able to handle it. I have an 5in turbo back exhaust and the egr is nowhere to be found Im installing a coolant filter soon. I was thinking of installing an extrenal oil cooler but I dont know much about those. So any advice would be nice.
Right now im running innovatives custom tunes. I know ill have to get them re wrote for the new setup. any ideas on who else has good tunes?
Has anybody had ford put in their studs? If so how much did they charge to do it and how long was your truck down? If you dont mind sharing. I could probably do it myself but the idea scares me

If your mechanically inclined its not that hard to do yourself. Tuscany and others have wrote threads with the steps to studding the 6.0. Pick your favorite tuner, they are all pretty good. If it were me, I'd knock it all out at one time.

Tuscany set the bar for headstuds by doing it in his drive in flip flops, but i agree its scary im thinking about doing it myself keep us updated.

What kind of mods to the fuel system will I have to do to be able to feed that size of injectors?

Whatever u do dont get an AD2. Nothing but horror stories w the 6.0

i had ford do mine head studs and all the updates and new oem injectors , if you buy all your own parts on the web then its cheaper than letting ford get the parts . i did research on the best 6.0l techs out there and when i found the right ford dealer i got them to give me a quote and it was fair . good luck

You can easily complete this job on your own. Just take your time and be patient. You don't need any supporting mods to feed 175's I have them in my truck and they run just fine with the OEM fuel supply system. But it will get VERY hot quick fast and in a hurry without enough air to keep things cool or without having fuel pulled with a stock turbo.
