I don't have one. But that would defeat your idea of getting black smoke. If you get more air in that helps burn more fuel. Then with more colder air in that burns even more fuel. It will make more power than stock intercooler but I wouldn't worry until I start seeing the egts go up. One question is it the six gun chip or the speedloader that defuels at 1400*F? I know one of em does it. I think it's the speedloader. Just wonderin.

It is the speed loader that does that. I do want the black smoke but i allso want alot fo power. Am slowing makeing my truck fast. Alittle at a time i do plan to work the turbo but i hate the JET AIRPLANE sound. I like the deep diesel sound kinda like a 24vale. But if you want power i guess you just have to deal with it.

dont waist your money on an intercooloer save your 1200 $ a put it toward something else on your truck i talked to the guys at banks at the sema show and the engineer said you dont reallly need one unless you are doing extreme towing he said save my money and do somthing else with it and that came from the people at banks so i guess it is a pretty reliable source

Man....i think the 6.0L 'Strokers sound MEAN! AND i drive a Cummins! haha...

You will get smoke off idle until you bulid boost if you over fuel...dont worry about that.......the intercooler wont help until you get going down the road....after that...That VGT turbo has pretty well taken care of the smoke issue.
