Making changes with custom tuning?

When I load a custom tune with my SCT it asks if I want to make changes. I enter NO and the custom tune loads. I figured all the parameters were entered by the person who wrote the tune. Should I be making changes, is there things that can be changed, do you guys make changes? Thanks.

William

Re: Making changes with custom tuning?

I always select yes and adjust revs per mile for my tire size just to be sure.

alwaya adjust revs per mile, and depending when or how you like the shift schedules, you an increase the or decrease shift points by pressure or throttle position ( on wide open runs ) , i personally like roughly a 20% increase. almost feels like tow/ haul.
