transmission tuning ???

I am new to 6.0 world but I came from 7.3's and 6.4's Got a great deal on the 6.0 I just picked up and it has a host of things done to the motor already, but I need a tuner and I was wondering if the guys tuning the 6.0 ( eric or matt ) also tune the trans like on the 6.4?

Yes, the transmission gets tuned with a custom tune. I have found, for myself anyway, that Matt's tunes work best on my truck, with little to no tweaks. Although, I have not tried Eric's tunes, so I can't speak about them.

If you go with the SCT flash tuner, yes it will tune the 5R110 transmission. Best tuner out there for the 6.0L.

I run Eric's files from Innovative currently, zero twicks, and no complaints.

I prefer Matt's tunes to Eric's, especially for daily driving. Opinions will diver as usual.

IMO I prefer tony wildmans tunes as far as the trans. Erics pulls the hardest in my truck, but the shifts are pretty ruff in some of the performance tunes, I use his tow tune though and no complains as well. Gear heads scared me, first WOT it shifted at 4500 rpm. I took it out and never put it back in.
