Exhaust question

I'm looking at getting a 4" turbo back straight pipe. Every kit I have looked at said for automatic transmission applications only. Why can't I use it on my six speed. Is there any kits that will work on a 6 speed?

So found a thread saying that 4in down pipe won't quitefit on a manual. No word on if you can make it work or not and that still does not explain why a manual only kit won't work on an automatic.

Re: Exhaust question

I just bought a flo pro 5 inch turbo back straight pipe. With a 4 inch down pipe. I called thoroughbred diesel and they said it will fit a.manual. I just put it on yesterday and it fit. Pretty tight but it fit.

Sweet congrats. Did the kit say it was for an automatic? I have a chance to get a 5in with 4in down pipe for cheap but says auto only so I was sceptical to buy it.
