Tranny suggestions??

So something put a hole in my case this weekend and I need a new transmission. Insurance will be covering it and I'm wondering what people's opinions are on a new one. I've called ATS NADP and suncoast and so far I like ats stage 2 and nadp built tranny both around the same price.

Mods are 4" turbo back exhaust, with no CAT, egr delete, sct performance tune, and that's about it so far.

Also would you recommend a custom tune? And who would you recommend.

Thanks!

I would go with a unit from BTS, Warren, or Twisted (not ATS, I've heard their customer service sucks and haven't heard of a single person who liked their tranny from them). NADP is REALLY good too but they're in Canada so it may get hung up in customs a little bit.

No idea it's kn the passenger side up behind where the exhaust passes right next to the tranny. Can only see it with a mirror but it's two small holes or more like slots looks like the claw from a hammer almost.

And yea I liked nadp but you think it would be a problem with customs? Anyone on here have experience with that?

Where are twisted and the others located I want it as quick as possible. Also ATS had a 5 year 500,000 mile warranty!

Do not go with ATS! My bro in law is on his 6th one. Yep you read that right. Oh and that's in one years time. When my trans goes, I will be going with BTS. Also I would not go with a Suncoast. I have three friends with Suncoast built 5r110's and every one of them has had the trans back out rebuilding a second time.

My Suncoast has been rebuilt once. I thought Suncoast was one of the best names in transmissions, guess not for ford's. It was very expensive. I've had a heck of time getting tuning that cooperates with it. I guess its the modified solenoids.

Do the other ones (bts, nadp ) cooperate better with custom tunes? Why would suncoast not? I don't know much about them. Looks like now I'm thinking bts or nadp. Also whoever said no ats was that stage 1 or 2?

I was told because of the modified solenoids. For example, Chris B from TSD sent me a tune with no tq lockup and a 1% over stock shift pressure increase and it ripped the tires off the pavement. Suncoast recomends NOT tuning thier transmissions, guess thats why. Not sure about other companies. Not sure if all of Suncoasts transmissions are like this but I went all out on mine, literally everything is upgraded.

Suncoast somehow determined poor tuning was to blame for the first one being destroyed. TSD was not tuning the truck then.
