Bypass oil filtration system

I'm considering putting one if these systems on my truck. I'm not really trying to get more miles between oil changes though. I'm wanting cleaner oil circulating through my engine.

What's the best system? I've been looking at BPD, and Amsoil. Will I have any mounting issues? I have a Sinister coolant filter mounted on the passenger side of my intercooler.

I also hav teh coolant filter from sinister. Hav you seen teh oil bypass from sinister? That's teh one I'd like to get. Their billet caps also look good. It can also mount oil and coolant filter on teh same bracket if you where to choose their system.

I just looked it up. Uses the Amsoil filter. Looks pretty good too. I think I may go that direction now. I like how it has both filters side by side. Thanks!

Nuc motorsports has one that is pretty much identical to the sinister. Mounting bracket looks the same. But it's about $100 cheaper. It uses that 2 micron amsoil filter.

I asked the same thing about the BPD system and now I guess they are upgrading the system to the amsoil filter system. So Ill wait until they post something on their site.

Rich and I designed an adapter for the BPD bypass oil filter kit that will allow users to either run the 10 micron less expensive bypass filter from carquest that comes with their kit or simply thread on the adapter and put any of the Amsoil EaBP series bypass filters with the exception of the EaBP120 on the BPD bypass kit. The EaBP series filters are the BEST filters on the market and this will allow you to run either filter of your choice.

That's pretty cool! Their filters are pretty steep, but the cleaner oil will be worth it in my opinion.

I've been running the amsoil by-pass kit for well over 5 years so far. It's been good, but i plan on ditchin it in favor of RCD's by-pass relocation kit.
