Vibration at 3200 to 3500 rpm
Hi I'm new at this website but I'm having a problem that is upsetting me. I have just performed a repair on my 06 powerstroke dually that consist in bulletproofing all the upgrades anything u can think of I have spend it about 12000k and now since I took it out the shop there is a vibration about 3200 to 3500 rpm and neither I or the shop knows where is coming from. It was a cab off job and now when this vibration happens I feel it in the floor of my truck. After all that money I thought I have a new truck and no more problem but obviously no, anybody has experience anything like this. ARP studs, egr plus all upgrades from Bpd oil cooler as well, thecnnicooler system from banks, powermax new turbo, Bpd ficm and water pump s&b air filter, 5" exhaust turbo back.

Sounds like your exhaust is vibrating on the frame or floor

Well we check the exhaust from the turbo back and nothing is touching, could it be something else. I even get the vibration in parking when I rev the engine that high, frustrating!!!!!

Might want to have a buddy lay under the truck while you rev it in park and listen for it. Hopefully they can point a location out and you could have a general idea of where it's coming from.

Already done that is not the exhaust. Could it be the fan or the new water pump that's causing that harmonic on the engine

I wouldn't think it would be the fan or water pump but who knows. The fan or pulley could be loose and vibrating. That would be the best thing I would check

I'm fixing to go to the shop tomorrow for diagnostic less see what would it be

Yea I'm curious about it to

Well I isolated the fan and water pump taking the belt off, rev the engine to 3200 and 3600 no vibration fixing to change water pump and then try again hopefully that's it

Might want to look into the bullet proof pump. Then you would never have to warty again about it.
