NEW MTW BILLET WHEELS FOR STAGE 1 and POWERMAX:::

Hello, members I have gotten new billet wheels for the stage 1 and the powermax. Yeh, I know some of you think I'm powermax hater but it's not ture.

I have single plane billet wheels for the stage 1 and the powermax, the wheels will out flow the cast wheels and possilbly the batmo wheels, I will be doing a flow test on the wheels when I get the flow test equipment I ordered.

How can I make such claims, well first the billet wheels have more surface area than the cast why? well cast aluminum are pourous and because of that the need to made thicker so they can hold up. The use of Billet as a material is much stronger and non pourous so the wheels can be thinner and the centers of wheels ( diameter )smaller to create more surface area on the compressor blades. So basically the billet wheels give you less weight ( faster spool ) and more surface area more flow.

So what makes my billet wheel offering different, the blade angle profile is same as the stocker, and the blades are not dual plane. Single plane wheels flow more and create more pressure, but are more prone to surge, without proper tuning. Ported housings and right tune will get rid of the surging issues.

The wheel is based off the garrett GTX wheel design, it measures 63.5mm/88mm with extended tips to 91mm.

I will be offering the wheels for sale and can take orders if anyone is interested, the price will be 325.00 shipped. They will be put on the web site when I get a chance. Thanks and hope this hepls out the powermax owners to get better performance along with the MTW stage 1. I have a member that will be testing the wheel very soon, and here's some pictures of the wheel.

These wheels actually reduce surge. Seen it first hand on a 66mm, different charger, but still.
