Performance Mod Recommendations - Alberta

Hi,

I just bought a 2006 F350 Harley Davidson, 124,000 kms, stock, except levelling kit and 325-60-20 tires. I bought the truck really to haul my 3 kids around, with very little towing in mind - my Avalance just wasnt big enough.

Need your advice here though guys...I would like to install the SCT 5015 (mainly for monitoring EGT's, etc..) as well as get some custom tunes to improve the performance. I will never, never, race this truck, its my family daily driver. I plan on getting an EGR delete kit installed (need a recommendation for those that may know where to get it done right here in Edmonton, Alberta), and 4" XP MBRP exhaust.

Are Vivian's tunes, mainly the Looney ok to install with on a non-studded truck? As well, any recommendations where to get my truck worked on here in Edmonton (I know NADP) and recommendations as far as any additional mods in order to keep the 6.0L safe and running a long time would be greatly appreciated.

welcome to the 6.0l world blaze , i am also from alberta . there is tons of info in the 6.0l section (stickies) everything you need to no will be there , most egr deletes are the same but i would go for the one piece to reduce leaks . i also run the looney tune on my 6.0l and yes she offers many different versons of it , some for studded trucks and some for non studded trucks . just give vivian a call and tell her wehat you have in mind and she will hook you up . also there is a diesel shop close to red deer called dirty diesel , they are also a sponcer here on the org , he does great work and can get you everything you need for your 6.0l including sct tuners egr deletes ect.... there is also lots of great places in edmonton as well you will just have to look around a bit . good luck and enjoy your new power stroke
