arp studs

Right now on my 07 I have a 5" striaght pipe and a afe stage two intake. Im really looking into getting the sct x3 from dj's but im afraid of blowing the heads off it. Can someone point me in the right direction. Please!

i have 4inch straight pipe, intake, zoodad, blah blah blah..been running SCT from DJ since a week after owning the truck..im 21 and my foot is H E A V Y ! ! ! !..I have yet to have a prob. 70k miles and looney daily.

ps. you wont "blow" the head off lol..its more of a stretch of the studs.

You can still run custom tunes without studs and be safe. The main thing is to watch your egt's and try not to stay in it for extended periods of time. The main thing is just be smart about when you use your extra power.

how much power will i be able to get out of the sct tuner if i tell dj's to keep it down becaues i have stock head studs? will the truck still run just as fast and much as powerful

We'll work with you to what you want to get out of the truck. Just let us know. Our Looney tune was originally only a track file but we've toned it down so you can drive it everyday. We have different levels of power also.

arp studs are cheap, it's the labor that's a PITA.

you can an SCT and have it tuned for EVERYWHERE between stock power levels, and BLOW MY HEADS OFF levels and every in between.

just depends on the size of your checkbook and the size of your cajones.

yes i ran a 120HP tune daily on stock head bolts for many miles..
i've even run my truck at more than 400HP on stock head bolts for several months..
