will SCT livewire from a 6.4L work on 6.oL
my buddy is gunna give me a SCT livewire for cheap...all i want it to do is read me temps for my truck...will i need to get it sent in somewhere for tunes for my truck if i do plan on using it for performance...let me know thanks

No, the 6.4 uses different SCT hardware. The only way is to send it in to SCT so they can change out the mother board in the device. IIRC, there is a fee. You would have to call SCT to see what they charge.
