Advice on Programmer

Looking to get an SCT programmer for 06 f-250. Which is the best? Has anyone used the SCT Livewire? Also What is the best EGR delete to buy?

Which SCT device depends on where you at on your build and personal preference. All SCT programmers tune the same way, by flashing the ECM.

You need to make a decision on, if you already own a monitor device, then all you need is the SCT X3 or SF3. If you don't have a monitor device, then check out the Livewire TS.

If you like the idea of having two separate tuner and monitor, because if one goes bad then you just have to replace one unit. If you want a "all in one" tuner/monitor, then go for the Livewire TS.

I like Sinister mfgs EGR delete.. its pretty and made of anodized aluminum, the SCT livewire TS has gotten good reviews and any tuner can put their tunes on it.. the only thing you can't do with DP-tuners tuner

Got my egr delete from custom diesel and i like it!

damn i like that new dp tuner but damn buy the time you pick out 3 tunes your over 700 bucks!! with who knows what else you have to have come with it

I like the Livewire, but the EGT part is discontinued. What can I do about that?

You don't want the old style Livewire, you want the model#5015 "Livewire TS".


Anybody using the new live wire ts 5015 yet?

I would get the Livewire TS.
Those are nice

But since I bought my setup before it came out, I have the SCT X3 and a scangauge2 to monitor the truck... it's an ok setup but I would so go with the Livewire TS now!
