Why is my SCT not as powerful as my BullyDog?

I have a 2004 6.0 crew cab with a 6 inch lift and 37's. any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Who's tunes are you running?

They're the canned SCT tunes. Who do you recommend? I talked to a guy from innovative today and he said I need to get my computer reflagged to get ALL the things bullydog left behind before I get a custom tune.

He would be correct. You will have to get the truck reflashed because Bullydog leaves a lot of garbage behind even when you unload it. That may be part of the reason that your truck feels slower. Eric at Innovative writes some very good tunes. A lot of guys also like Matt at Gearhead and Vivian at Quick Tricks.

Re: Why is my SCT not as powerful as my BullyDog?
You're sorely disappointed with sct bcuz you're using canned tunes and the bully dog parameters are probably still stored on the computer. Go get it reflashed and check out Tony Wildman for some good custom tunes. Then chime back in in this thread .....

This, and I dont even have a 6.0 (personally, do for work)

I loaded the canned tunes because I was waiting for my custom tunes. And It was a complete night and day difference. Custom tunes are the way to go. I have Vivian's anmd Tony's tunes. Love them both, but am partial to Vivian

To sum it up with one word...... Timing.....

Bulldog has more aggressive timing tables than sct.
