Well I'm ordering it.

After being on this forum for a year now and reading (and drooling) about all the mods and goodies you guys have been doing to your trucks, I finally decided to step off the curb. I put an exhaust on my truck last month (thanks Gus) and just called DJ's to order my Livewire. They are supposed to call me back in the morning and get the details worked out. So what tunes, mount, etc. should I go with. Remember, I have an 11-12 thousand pound trailer to drag around on occasion. So if I get a "tow file" I'm guessing it can't be too radical. I really don't have a need for a "Race" only file. How much difference is there between the street Looney and regular Loon? Alan, I remember you saying the 90* OBDII cable was a must. Anyone have any input on which mount to go with?? Or better yet some pics showing your mount installed?

You mean this one?? That's sort of the reason I am going with the livewire... so I don't have to get rid of the grab bar. Sorry, I guess I should of specified that but, I like the look of dial gauges better if I were going to remove the handle.

Mainly wondering about places to mount either the windshield mount or dash mount. I'm thinking the windshield mounted over the rearview mirror if the cables are long enough. I like stealth, out of site things.

Sweet deal man, lets just hope she returns your emails faster than mine. I emailed her Monday with some issues and I've had no responce.

Very unlike Vivian to not respond at all, I figured they were out due to teh holiday but was suprised to see your email.

Congrats, Terry! Man, you're not gonna be able to wipe that smile off your face... Oh, and it's about time you stepped off the curb!!! BTW, I have towed (12k) with DJ's tow file and it pulls very strong and the tranny is firm and consistent. When I picked the trailer up, I was running the street tune and it would shift too late if I was pushing it and too soon if I didn't.

Txbroker,
Hmmm. That does seem odd, but they do have some email problems from time to time. You should give her a call.

I was expecting a call today from them. Nick (the guy I talked to) said he thought they were going to work today. Hmmmm. I'll call them Monday I guess.

Ouch, the only thing that sucks is having to wait on the man in the brown truck...

I seriously doubt it. The only time they hurry is when I'm gonna be at work for a few days (firefighter) and there is no one there to accept the package.
