looking to buy an exhaust

ok i dont post on here much but i am wondering if anyone else on here started out with sct xcal2 looney tune with stock exhaust then upgraded to aftermarket and notice any difference (seat of the pants) i also was looking to hear some more whistle out of the turbo. i did delete the muffler but i didnt like the lack of torque i guess.it didnt throw you in the seat like it did with the muffler on so i put the muffler back on for now.

i was interested in the farm boy diesel budget exhaust how do you guys running it like it. how is the pricing for turbo back.

i have an 05 6.0

I may be able to help you out..The very first thing i did to my truck was add the SCT with looney..drove it around like that for a little while truck was fast!. I pulled the muffler and tailpipe off and still had the stock cat on there. that was when the truck was the quickest, well to me anyways. I put it back on because I had to take a long drive with my dad and i didnt want to hear him ***** about it the whole time. Then I ordered a cat-delete pipe. didnt "really" change the sound too too much. But it helped. while that happened I had my computer in my truck go bad. The stealership put a new one in and when I called Vivian for a new tune with the new strategy codes I felt that the truck wasnt as fast. Like a week later I bought my 4inch TB straight pipe. Changed the sound like CRAZY. The truck is like whisleing dixie. Anyways though I'll be real honest I kinda of have the feeling that the truck performs better with just the cat on and the rest straighted piped.

You gotta do the exhaust if your gonna run the Xcal. You're egt's will be way to high with a stock exhaust. A 4" exhaust will lower you're egt's 2 to 3 hundred degrees. Good luck.
