Is it possible to turn egr valve off with sct3000 without a tune? What are the benefits of this? And how to do it? Thanks for all the input

I believe the tune writers can write you a stock tune with EGR disabled if you don't want to add HP.

So it's have to be stock tune? I run a street tune right now it's the best on performance and mpg

If you have a older X3 part#3000 with canned and custom tunes, I don't think the canned tunes for this model gives you a EGR disable option.

If you have a newer X3 part#3000 that only does custom tunes, then you will need to have a tune writer make you a tune with EGR disable.

Even if you have the older X3, with canned and custom tunes, you would still need the tune writer to disable the EGR in the custom tunes.

For $50 or less, you can get one tune with EGR disabled, or get 3 tunes for $100-$160 with EGR disabled.
