I'm not aware of anyone on here currently running a dual HPOP setup. I know some guys are working on doing something like this for their trucks but nothing that I have heard of yet.

I saw Jess at warren diesel had pictures of one. The feed came from the oil pan drain. And the pressure side tapped into the test port on the hpop. Also look at redneck6.0 set up. He made it work with a pump that was bought at a farm and fleet store for less than 100 bucks. There is a really good thread about it on the army. It will make you be able to run 225s and not have to worry about the leaching that seems to happen with hybrid injectors.

yeah I know Jess has a set up I got one I order with him as soon as it done but wanted to c what else was out there I was thinkn use a dual alternator kit and just use the 2nd alternator Nd use where the top one would mount for a dual pump just thinkn out loud but never know I'm going 285's or 305's not sure yet tho

Redneck, cheap dual hpop - PowerStrokeArmy sorry for posting a link from a different forum, I just know he has a pic on his first post. May give you some insight. Sounds cheap, and it appearantly works.

But a lot of those hybrid injectors leach fuel. That's what I was getting at. You run dual hpop and you don't have an Icp problem.

they have not done that in a long time

I guess it depends on if it's a weekend warrior, or a daily driver. And how much you're willing to change your oil.

There are a few different companies' hybrid injectors that have no fuel dilution whatsoever. To my knowledge, these companies are using new injector bodies made specifically for turning injectors into hybrids.
So don't let the old information sway you from pursuing hybrids if it is something you'd be interested in. |
