sct egr delete???

ok i know the sct will turn off the egr, but is there anything else i should do? do i need the delete pipe? or egr block off?

you can delete the entire egr system from the truck if you want. most people usually settle for the freeze plug method. Lookin' foward to deleting mine in december

I have mine welded shut. There are alot of folks who use the sneaky pipe.

mine is welded off as well, but the sneaky pipe would be a great choice if you have the extra $$$. That way you could always put the stock up pipe back on if needed.

i did the block off plate, its cheaper than the up-pipe with EGR delete.

Sneaky pipe on mine; Elite sells them and for some reason I can't find them on DPP's site... That's who I ordered mine from.

The block off plate or a freeze plug works well on the 03-04 trucks, but the 05-up have the restrictive scoop in the pipe that needs to be eliminated. For $165 I'll go the distance when the time comes and get rid of the scoop that half blocks the pipe off.

yep, I agree. I had forgotton that the '05 & ups had the ice cream scoop inside.

will the egr cancel with the sct tuner do the same thing freeze plug or sneeky pipe?
