help me build a FICM...
Here is the situation. I have a 7 pin ficm from FICM REPAIR with the atlas 80 tune. Cant complain other than yes it does seem to crank up the EGT's. I also have a worn out oem 4 pin sittin here lookin at me. I would like to build a BAD AZZ FICM but Im still not 100% sure on how to go about that. Now the good thing is I reely dont need it yet. The one in the truck is doing fine. But back to the whole egt thing....and I do tow over the Rockies everyonce in abit.
So here goes- Question #1 Do I say screw it keep the 7 pin atlas 80 and buy a devils own water meth kit???? (This would be the cheapest route) Question#2 any diffrence in building up a 7 pin over a 4? Question #3 would I buy the power board/supply from BPD then send both my old oem ficm and new equipment to FICMREPAIR.com to make up a bad azz ficm? Question #4 is the 53v worth the cash? and lastly I guess Id have to go with the 4 phase huh. Thanks guys! |

I don't know what your trying to accomplish here but if you want a FICM that is already badass and won't fail than look no further than the BPD FICM's. They are the power supply half shell only and the FICM programming is on the logic side of the FICM therefore you only need a logic side tuned FICM along with a BPD power supply and your golden.

The Tressa mod is something I came up with when my 16 year old daughter told me she didnt like driving the truck around the farm at night because she couldnt see the dual tires. I sunk lights in the running board (in the back plug) so when your in a tight spot you pull the headlight switch out and poof the duals light up. I have found that it reeley is usefull i.e. going down a very tight side road at night with cars on one side and a curb on the other, pop on the lights and it takes the pucker factor down a notch. Look it up in the search button Ive got pics in their.

Or you put it together and get a FICM tuner from PHP and then you can change thhe FICM tune as your current needs dictate.

58V Power Supply with a 4pin logic with the 40HP Atlas tune would be the best IMO..

Is your 4 pin the entire module or just the power side?

I will assume its the whole thing simply because this truck was 100% stocker when I got it
