PHP ficm programer question

ok so i got my PHP in the mail today. My truck is currently throwing a code for FICM performance. I want to use the programer to check my FICM voltage. The question is can just plug it in to check the voltage and not reprogram anything? The instructions say to take out the relay or you will get damage and thats what worrys me. i do not want to reprogram just check voltage.

Yes you can. You only take out the relay to program the FICM.

Yes you can check your voltage without pulling the relay or reprogram.

Going by memory here, plug in the gryphon, follow instructions about turning key on/off. You should come to s screen that has a list of what you want to do, check DTC, program, display, monitor, ect, ect. Scroll to the one that says display or whatever, hit enter button.

Just don't pick "program"!!

What is the code? U0306??

Your on the right track. Just make sure you check the voltage while cranking.
