Turbo down tube?

I was wondering if it would be a problem if I just took the cat off and let the exhaust exit right there under the truck or will it get too hot right next to the tranny. I have a 04 6.0 thanks

if you put a pipe pointing it downwards you should be good... only thing that would concern me is soot all over the underside of your truck

Remember the soot can mix with water and form a mild acid, you don't want that on the underside of your truck. At least dump it down, or add an elbow to shoot it out the side. If anything I would periodically pressure wash the underside of the truck to remove soot buildup every so often.
