stock intake may be best at filtering air, but its a PITA when it comes time to change the filter. I went with the BPD intake and filter, half the cost of the stock filter and take a few mintues to change.

I've read this many times....maybe later air boxes were harder to access? My '04 IMO was easy..checked it every 10k miles..after 80k stoped checking as the filter was still clean after 8 years and then sold the Excursion. FYI for 7 years our driveway was gravel and 1/3 mile long...

i agree and disagree.. i know i've been told its the best but with my banks ram air, i noticed an increase in MPG and power, enough of a power increase for me to feel.. so far i'm impressed with it and no i didn't waste my money cause i got it for free!
