who has done this?

so i was wondering, who here has an SCT and has messed with the user adjustable parameters? like changing the shift points, or even setting the gear ratio on the tuner? it asks me to leave it stock or set it to one of the many different gear ratios. anyone know what this does to the tune or tranny? thanks in advance!!!

i've used the other parameters but vivian at dj's says you dont have to since its already programed for your truck from the info you give them. i use to put in tire revs, axle ratio, and shift points. seems like the shift points and firmness helped a little. i always beef up the shift pressure cause i like a firmer shift. i also tried just leaving it alone and i do feel the difference.

I keep my redline lower than stock. Just feel safer to keep from over revving.

I have changed the shift pressure only to make it firmer. My gears and tire size were already programmed into my tunes.
