Edge juice w/attitude-older style

I just got an edge juice w/attitude (for $250). it's the one with the epoxy on back. i think manufacture date is 2005.
anyone have any experience with these?
Ya'll know any pros or cons w/this unit?
I plan on getting an sct maybe next year, but I'll run the edge till then.
I am mainly going to use this for fuel mileage(maybe a little fun now and then)
It's on a 2004 f-250 6.0
any input would be appreciated!!

I just put the same set up on mine. The down side is that the juice doesnt have the safety add-ons that they added to the juice platinum. I think you can send it to edge though for updating.

I haven't gotten too much mileage on it yet but the guy I got it from is a friend of mine and he was getting 18.7 MPG towing his boat for 2 hours on a trip.

I don't like the defueling in stage 4 and 5 because it feels like it falls on its face but I am sure the trans does since even in stage 3 it shifts firm to say the least.

I am guessing this is where the SCT come into play with the smoother shifts.

Thats all I can really offer as far as input for you.

I running this on a 2003 F350 crew with the 6.0L
